Notes | Clinical Assistant We are seeking a highly capable and friendly Clinical Assistant to help create a positive patient experience in our facility. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with both office duties and clinical/lab duties. To ensure success, a Clinical Assistant should exhibit a proactive approach toward ensuring excellent patient care. Outstanding candidates have excellent customer service skills, some clinic/lab experience, can follow detailed instructions, and are proficient at multi-tasking. Novices, QDA's, RDA's and CDA's encouraged to apply. Clinic Assistant Responsibilities: -Provide clerical and staff support to the clinic. -Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. -Creating a positive experience by welcoming and assisting clinic patients. -Assist with preparing patient files by obtaining personal and health information. -Assist with collecting patient information and enter data into online systems. -Assist with patient payments. -Assist with screening and referring phone calls and scheduling patients. -Promoting patient safety by maintaining a clean and hygienic environment. -Setting up and stocking treatment rooms. -Sterilizing dental equipment and sanitizing designated areas. Clinic Assistant Requirements: -High School diploma or GED. -Basic knowledge of healthcare practices, standards, and medical/dental terminology. -Record-keeping abilities and proficiency in related software. -Exceptional interpersonal skills to assist and reassure patients. -Ability to prioritize and perform multiple tasks as directed by healthcare professionals. -Excellent written and verbal communication skills. -Ability to gather data and compile information. -Receptionist experience preferred. Applicant to be hired at an introductory rate based on experience and qualifications with a standard 6-month North Dakota probationary period. Within this 6-month probationary time, reviews will be done to assess job performance. Base starting rate:$13-$20 depending on experience and credentials. 9 paid holidays: Eligible for paid holidays after 6-month probationary period. 3 paid sick days: Eligible to use after 6-month probationary period. To be used within the employment year: No accrual No sick-day pay-outs if employment is terminated or employee resigns. 5 paid vacation days: Eligible to use after 1 year of employment. To be used within the employment year: No accrual No vacation-day pay-outs if employment is terminated or employee resigns. |
