Dental Assistant – Wauwatosa, WI Mayfair Family Dentistry is looking for a dependable, motivated dental assistant to join our small, busy team. Benefits include HEALTH INSURANCE. We use Dentrix as our software. We are a general dental practice that also cares for children, adults, and patients with special healthcare needs. We are looking for someone who is kind with patients, works well with a team, and takes pride in keeping the clinical area organized and running smoothly. Responsibilities include: • Assisting with fillings, crowns, extractions, dentures, partials, implants, and preventive appointments • Taking digital X-rays • Setting up and breaking down treatment rooms • Sterilizing instruments and maintaining infection-control standards • Stocking rooms and monitoring supplies • Helping the doctor stay on schedule • Supporting the front desk when needed • Communicating clearly with patients and coworkers The right person will be: • Reliable and punctual • Comfortable staying busy and taking initiative • Organized and able to follow checklists • Willing to ask questions and learn • Friendly, professional, and patient-focused • Able to accept feedback and work independently after training Dental assisting experience and dental X-ray certification are preferred. We are open to training the right candidate who has a strong work ethic and a genuine interest in dentistry. Schedule: Monday through Thursday, approximately 32–36 hours per week Location: Wauwatosa, Wisconsin Pay: Based on experience and can be negotiable.
