A small boutique dental clinic in east Vancouver/Camas, WA is seeking a wonderful FT hygienist Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Our current hygienist is getting married and moving out of town permanently. Part time work will be considered as well if candidates are a good fit. New graduates welcome to apply! Camas Dentistry is seeking a dental hygienist for a practice that has a robust existing re-care patient base. We have an excellent, healthy, close-knit team that works in an even paced environment. The clinic has 4 operatories with two of them dedicated to hygiene. Both hygiene operatories are equipped with piezo and cavitron units. Dental assistants are available to aid you throughout your day as well! This position is a single column, 1 hour per patient appointment base with extra time given for patients who need SRP or extra care. You will work with one other hygienist and one doctor. Open Dental software is used in this office. If you have a passion for quality dental care and patient comfort, then we would like to meet you! Typical job duties involve following proper hygiene protocol, advocating the importance of oral hygiene, providing periodontal care, taking digital X-rays, and applying fluoride. In addition, must be able to perform scaling and root planing, review and record medical/dental histories, maintain digital patient records, and to facilitate the dentist's diagnosis and treatment recommendations. Must be comfortable using computers and technology. The ideal candidate will have the ability to project positivity and a warm, compassionate, caring professional demeanor. Requirements for this job include a Bachelor's or Associate's degree from an ADA accredited dental hygiene program, a valid and current Washington state RDH license, and current CPR certification.
