| Notes | We are looking for a dental assistant to play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to children by assisting the dentist, performing hygiene-related procedures, and ensuring a comfortable and positive experience for young patients. This role includes chairside assistance, patient education, and performing prophylaxis and hygiene care as permitted by state regulations. Responsibilities: • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures. • Perform coronal polishing, fluoride application, and prophylaxis on pediatric patients (as allowed by state law). • Obtain dental X-rays. • Maintain infection control and sterilization protocols. • Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene techniques, including brushing, flossing, and diet recommendations. • Ensure a child-friendly and calming environment for patients. • Provide pre- and post-procedure instructions to parents and caregivers. • Comfort and manage children’s behavior during appointments. • Communicate treatment plans and oral health instructions effectively to parents. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with children and parents. • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. • Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols. • Compassionate and patient-focused approach to pediatric care.
